| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a elaborate quartered heraldic achievement combining the arms of the Bishopric of Fulda — a silver cross on black — with the personal arms of the von Bibra family, the whole surmounted by a princely crown flanked by a bishop's mitre with staff on the left and a sovereign's helm with crest on the right. Two ornate baroque supporters flank the shield. The engraver's initials I P W appear in the lower field. The legend LX EINE FEINE MARCK arcs along the upper periphery, indicating the fineness standard of 60 coins to the Cologne Mark of fine silver. |
