Obverse description Draped bust of Duke Carl Eugen (Charles Eugene) facing right, set within an open laurel wreath tied with a ribbon bow at the base. The portrait is rendered in a Baroque style with the subject wearing a cuirass and court dress. The encircling Latin legend reads CAROLUS EUGENIUS D G DUX WURT ET TEC, interrupted by the wreath framing. A beaded inner border runs along the coin's periphery.

Reverse description The elaborately quartered arms of Württemberg displayed on a baroque cartouche-style shield, surmounted by a ducal crown. The shield is flanked by decorative scrollwork and foliage. The motto PROVIDE ET CONSTANTER arcs around the upper field divided by the crown. The denomination 20 and the date appear in the lower exergual area, with the mint mark H visible beneath the date. A beaded border frames the entire design.
