Reverse description A ornate cross patée with floriated, trefoil-terminated arms, its centre decorated with small pellets or bosses at the angles between the arms, occupying the majority of the reverse field. The cross is surmounted by a small imperial crown at the top arm. The surrounding circular legend, running along the denticled border, gives the issuing city, denomination, and date.
