Reverse description Central device depicts the Imperial double-headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, displayed with wings spread, each head crowned, and a central escutcheon on the breast bearing the quartered arms of the Habsburg dynasty. The eagle is rendered in the Baroque style characteristic of mid-18th century German coinage. A large Imperial crown surmounts the two heads above. The circumferential Latin legend, referencing Emperor Francis I, reads FRANC·D·G·RO·IMP·S·A·GE·IE·REX·LO·B·M·H·DUX, all within a reeded border.
