| Obverse description | Draped and crowned bust of Empress Yekaterina II facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and pinned up. The portrait is rendered in a refined neoclassical style with fine detail in the drapery folds at the shoulder. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the effigy, reading the imperial title in abbreviated form. The mint mark СПБ (St. Petersburg) appears in the lower field below the bust truncation. |
