| Obverse description | The national coat of arms incorporating a Bird of Paradise vignette is positioned in the left field, flanked by two facsimile signatures designating the Governor and the Secretary, Department of Treasury. An intaglio vignette of Parliament House in Port Moresby dominates the central and right portions of the note, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint in peach and orange tones.
