| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized radiant sun with flame-like rays, at the center of which is the small Ukrainian state trident (tryzub) arms. Flanking the sun to the right are two swans in flight, while to the left the elongated pointed form of an aircraft nose extends across the field, evoking the Antonov AN-225 in silhouette. A dotted inner border frames the design. The upper legend reads УКРАЇНА with the date 2002 below it, while the denomination 20 ГРИВЕНЬ appears across the lower field. The mint mark and fineness notation Ag.925 62.2 are inscribed along the lower left interior border. |
