| Obverse description | Printed in olive-green on pink paper, the obverse presents a central landscape vignette of the Zell am See with the alpine peaks of the Hohe Tauern reflected in the lake below, rendered in fine letterpress line engraving. The inscription 'Seebad Zell am See' appears in a bold banner across the top, flanked at each corner by small decorative floral cartouches. The denomination '20 HELLER' is set in a plain reserve panel at the lower centre, with the word 'HELLER' running vertically along both the left and right borders. |

| Reverse description | The reverse, printed in olive-green on pink paper, carries a central circular vignette of a crowned patron saint holding a staff, flanked by sprays of edelweiss to the left and alpine roses to the right, with crossed oars in the outer side panels. The heading 'Gutschein des Seebades Zell am See / Pinzgau - (Land Salzburg)' appears at the top, while a two-line redemption text states the note was exchangeable for legal tender by the Marktgemeinde Zell am See from 1 June to 31 August 1920, bearing two manuscript signatures for the Vizebürgermeister and the Bürgermeister.
