| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark blue-violet on cream paper and divided into two main registers within a decorative frame of interlocking circles and stylized fruit-bearing branches. The upper register contains a central vignette of a rural church with a prominent steeple set amid trees and rolling fields under a clouded sky. The lower register carries the denomination numerals '20' within scalloped roundels at left and right flanking the central inscription 'Gutschein / Gemeinde', below which the community name 'Wechling' is rendered in large Art Nouveau-style script incorporating a subsidiary oval vignette of a thatched farmhouse. The artist's signature 'R. Sittinger' appears at lower right and the printer's imprint 'Druck W. Trentsker, Hollafeld' at lower left. |
