| Obverse description | Printed in brown on pink paper, the obverse is divided into two panels: the left panel carries a stylised heraldic shield with an ornate cross motif and the issuer inscription below, while the right panel bears the denomination in large Gothic blackletter script accompanied by a central vignette of a panoramic townscape view of Schwarzenau set within a ruled frame. The validity date "31. Dezember 1920" appears to the upper right, and three facsimile signature lines for the Finanzreferent, Bürgermeister, and Vize-Bürgermeister are printed along the lower margin. |
