| Obverse description | Printed in dark red-brown on a rose-pink guilloche underprint, the left half carries a letterpress vignette of a riverside street scene with a bridge and tower characteristic of Schönbühel an der Donau. The right panel bears the denomination '20' in a starburst cartouche at upper right flanked by the split legend 'Hel- -ler', with the text 'Gut-Schein der Marktgemeinde Schönbühel a/o Donau' in Gothic script below. A redemption clause, validity date 'Giltig bis 31. Dezember 1920', an anti-counterfeiting warning, the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature, and the edition note '3. Auflage' complete the design, with ornamental rosette corner devices framing the whole. |
