| Obverse description | The central panel carries the denomination numeral '20' at the top flanked by foliate ornaments, with the text 'Notgeld der Gemeinde PRÄGARTEN über Zwanzig Heller' in Gothic blackletter script below. Two vignettes frame the central text: at left, a line-engraved view of a Baroque church tower with an onion dome set against a clouded sky, and at right, a Gothic spired church amid trees. The lower corners contain decorative Art Nouveau floral cartouches, and the redemption clause with the date '31/12. 1920' and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister appear at the foot of the central panel. |
