| Obverse description | Printed in blue and red-brown on cream paper, the obverse carries the denomination numeral '20' at upper left and right within a blue scroll-and-wave border. The central vignette, rendered in red-brown letterpress, presents a rural scene of a farmstead with trees dated '1626', flanked on each side by smaller panels showing agricultural implements; a cartouche in the upper right bears the inscription 'Pappenheim-Stöckel' beneath a foliate figure.
