Obverse description Printed in brown and green on cream paper, the obverse carries a detailed letterpress vignette of the town of Peuerbach as seen from an elevated perspective, with a church tower and medieval structures set against a rolling hillside landscape. At upper centre, a circular municipal seal of Peuerbach with gothic architectural motif serves as the central medallic element, flanked by the denomination numerals '20' in blue at upper left and upper right in Gothic script. The right-hand panel bears a liability declaration in German script, dated 'Peuerbach, am 2. März 1920', and signed by the Bürgermeister Josef Leuberger, with the issuer title 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Peuerbach' rendered in ornate Gothic lettering across the upper portion.
