Obverse description The obverse is divided into two principal zones by a ruled border of interlocking brick-like ornament. The left panel contains the denomination '20' in large red numerals above the legend 'Heller' in black Gothic script, flanked above and below by decorative arabesque vignettes. The right panel presents a line-engraved view of Schloss Paasen circa 1700, a rural castle complex with outbuildings, a bridge, and surrounding trees, captioned 'Schloß Paasen um 1700' in a cartouche; the issuer's name 'Gemeinde Moosbach' is inscribed in red calligraphic lettering across the top, and the artist's signature 'Sepp Auer' appears in small print at the lower centre.

Reverse description The reverse carries a central oval vignette enclosed within a chain-link guilloche border, showing the municipal coat of arms of Moosbach — a crescent moon above a plough over sheaves of wheat — rendered in solid black on a dark ground. The denomination '20' in bold red numerals appears to either side of the vignette, each accompanied by the word 'Heller' in black Gothic script. Below the central device, two columns of Gothic-script text set out the legal guarantee of redemption by the municipality and the validity period, dated Moosbach, Juni 1920, and signed by the Bürgermeister Heinr. Goldhamer; the printer's imprint 'Druck von J. Moser Braunau am Inn' is printed in small type beneath the lower border.
