| Reverse description | Printed in dark reddish-brown on a pale patterned underprint, the reverse is enclosed within a rope-twist border matching the obverse. The denomination '20 Heller' appears in large bold numerals at upper left, beneath which a redemption text block in German states the notes will be redeemed by the market town of Mondsee in legal currency until 31 December 1920, with the Bürgermeister signature line of A. Kaltenbrunner. A woodcut-style vignette to the right presents a panoramic Alpine mountain ridge scene. The inscription 'Mondsee in Oberösterr.' is printed along the lower right margin, with 'Reisenbichler' noted at the bottom edge. |
