| Obverse description | Printed in brown on green paper, the obverse is framed by a dashed border with a repeating dot-and-dash inner rule. The denomination numeral '20' appears in diamond cartouches at upper left and right, flanked by an oval vignette inscribed 'Stadtgemeinde Mautern a/D.' at centre top. Below the 'Gut-Schein' legend, a central vignette presents a view of the Danube bridge at Mautern rendered in fine line engraving, with the municipal coat of arms repeated on either side. Three facsimile signature lines with printed titles appear at the foot, accompanied by the issuing authority's guarantee text and the date '2. April 1920'. |
