| Obverse description | The left half of the note is occupied by a hand-drawn crowned heraldic shield of Maishofen, supported by two ornate lion rampant supporters rendered in rust-red and black ink, with elaborate foliate mantling above. To the right, the denomination '20' appears at upper right in bold script, followed by the obligation text in hand-lettered Gothic style on a plain ground with a faint wavy-line underprint. Three manuscript signatures appear in the lower right area, attributable to the Bürgermeister and municipal council members. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in rust-red and black on a white ground, with a bold decorative border of undulating ribbon motifs at each side. A central lozenge-shaped vignette on a grey ground contains a naturalistic full-body illustration of a brown-and-white Alpine cow standing in profile facing left, representing the pastoral agricultural character of the Pinzgau region. The denomination 'Heller' is repeated in large cursive script in each corner of the border, and the validity dates are incorporated into the lozenge surround. |
