| Obverse description | The left half is divided into two vignettes: an upper circular inset with a line-engraved view of the ruined Galgenmäuer walls on the Dinglberg hillside, flanked by the denomination numeral '20' on either side, and a larger rectangular vignette below rendering a detailed pen-and-ink view of Schloss Kreisbach as it appeared circa 1850, with the castle reflected in a foreground waterway. The right half carries the issuing authority and redemption text in Gothic Fraktur script, with the place and date 'Kreisbach, im Mai 1920' set in a larger display hand. Three manuscript signatures appear beneath the printed titles of Bürgermeister, Vizebürgermeister, and Finanzreferent, with the printer's imprint at foot. |
