| Obverse description | Typeset notgeld issue on plain paper with a light blue guilloche underprint at centre, bearing the issuer's name 'Stadt-Gemeinde Klagenfurt.' in Gothic blackletter script at the top. The large denomination numeral '20' appears at left with 'Heller' in a bold blackletter typeface, beside a small vignette of a standing figure integrated into the guilloche. The body text in German declares acceptance at all municipal cashiers and redeemability in legal currency until 31 March 1920, dated 'Klagenfurt, 25. September 1919', with two facsimile signatures below their respective titles; a vertical validity strip at right reads 'Nur gültig bis 31. März 1920.' |
