Obverse description Printed in dark green on a light guilloche-patterned ground, the obverse centres on a letterpress vignette of a panoramic aerial view of Hüttau village with its prominent church steeple, set against a wooded hillside. Flanking the central vignette are two vertical panels, each carrying the denomination inscription 'GUTSCHEIN ÜBER 20 HELLER' within a ruled frame with ornamental corner devices. Two manuscript signatures appear in the lower portion, attributed to municipal officials, with their titles 'G.R.' and 'Bgm.' inscribed beneath.

Hüttau is a small municipality in the Salzburg uplands, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the postwar Notgeld wave that briefly turned nearly every Austrian parish and market town into its own miniature issuing authority. The 1920 date places it in the second, more deliberate phase of Austrian municipal Notgeld — after the chaotic wartime improvisation, local governments were now commissioning regional printers with some intention of producing collectible series alongside functional small change.

R. Kiegel was a Salzburg printing house responsible for several provincial issues of this period. The Jaksc/Pick reference JPR0401a distinguishes the 20 Heller denomination within the Hüttau series.
