| Obverse description | Salmon-pink notgeld note printed in dark brown on a fine guilloche underprint. At centre, an ornate oval vignette bears the old seal of the Hoff-March Gröbming, surrounded by decorative scrollwork; the denomination numeral '20' appears at the top within a dotted circular frame. To the left, a verse by Styrian poet P.K. Rosegger is set in blackletter script, while the right panel carries the redemption text stating the note is valid from 1–31 December 1920 in legal tender. Along the lower edge, the validity line 'Giltig bis 31. Dez. 1920' is flanked by the manuscript signatures of the Bürgermeister and his deputy, within a decorative diamond-pattern border frame. |
