| Obverse description | Green letterpress Notgeld on cream paper, enclosed within an ornate border of fruit-laden branches — pears and apples — forming a rustic frame. The upper vignette presents three large storage barrels arranged side by side, flanked by fruit trees, with the year split '19 — 20' to either side. Below, the issuing authority inscription 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Abetzberg' appears in Gothic script, followed by the denomination 'Heller 20 Heller' in bold blackletter.
