| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red on cream paper, the upper half carries a rectangular landscape vignette rendered in a woodcut style, showing a rolling rural scene with farmhouses nestled among hills and a tall poplar tree at right, with the artist's initial 'W' in the lower-left corner of the vignette. The lower half bears large decorative letterpress text reading 'GUTSCHEIN / 20 HELLER / DER GEMEINDE / NAARN' in an Art Nouveau typeface, with the denomination numeral '20' and the year '1918' set within a circular wreath cartouche at centre.
