Obverse description Central field depicts the Czechoslovak state coat of arms: a double-tailed lion rampant to the right, bearing on its breast a quartered shield incorporating the Slovak cross emblem. The heraldic device is rendered in bold relief after the style of Otakar Španiel. The circular legend REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ runs along the upper periphery, divided by a small star. The date 1921 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the shield, reflecting the die origin year.

Reverse description Central motif consists of a bound sheaf of wheat ears rising from the lower field, their stalks tied with a ribbon, flanked on the left by the large denomination numeral '20' and on the right by a linden branch with leaves, emblematic of Czechoslovakia. A sickle curves around the base of the sheaf. Radiating lines in the upper field suggest sunlight above the harvest motif. The engraver's signature O. ŠPANIEL appears in small characters along the lower right rim.
