Obverse description Black letterpress on white paper with an ornate guilloche border framing all four sides. The denomination "20" appears in each corner, with the title "Anticipations-Schein" and the value "Zwanzig Gulden" in Gothic script at the top centre. A multi-line text body in German script occupies the central field, above two manuscript signatures and a serial number at the foot.
