| Reverse description | The reverse presents a striking geometric cartouche of interlaced rectangular and curved frames arranged symmetrically, occupying the central field, within which the denomination inscription GROSSI XX appears prominently in two lines. A pair of crossed oak sprigs (a della Rovere dynastic emblem) issues from the top of the cartouche, while additional value notations L and X appear in the lower field flanking a chevron device. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded outer border, and the design's bold graphic character is characteristic of late Renaissance Italian hammered silver coinage. |
