| Obverse description | Two classical allegorical figures — Labour, represented as a bearded elder man in contemplation, and Science, a youthful female figure — are rendered in intaglio at center-right, rising above the denomination vignette. A large blank watermark window occupies the left portion of the note, framed by an ornate geometric and foliate guilloche border. The date of issue appears at top center beneath the issuer's title, with serial number and alphanumeric series references at both upper and lower margins. |
