(Translation: Year 1366 Struck in Paris, State of Morocco)
Reverse description Central field displays the denomination numeral 20 above the word FRANCS, both set within a square frame rotated 45 degrees to form a lozenge shape, itself inscribed within a circle decorated with arabesque and foliate ornaments in the Moorish tradition. The mint mark (Monnaie de Paris wing) appears below the denomination. The Latin legend MAROC arches along the upper rim, while the Arabic legend السكة المحمدية الشريفة (The Sharifian Muhammadan Coinage) runs in flowing calligraphic script around the lower portion of the inner border, all enclosed within a toothed outer rim.
