The truncation is clean, and the engraver's signature BARRE appears at the base of the neck in the lower field. The surrounding legend LOUIS-NAPOLEON · BONAPARTE arcs along the periphery, with LOUIS-NAPOLEON to the left and BONAPARTE to the right. The entire design is framed by a fine beaded inner border. |
