| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is depicted centrally, featuring a leopard's head facing forward flanked by two crossed elephant tusks and a spear, set upon a decorative base with a ribbon bearing the motto PAIX. The legend REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO arcs along the upper periphery, while the motto words JUSTICE and TRAVAIL appear on the respective tusks. The split date 20-19 is positioned in the lower field to either side of the arms, with the denomination 20 FRANCS inscribed along the lower rim and the silver content mark 1 oz Ag 999.9 appearing just above it. A beaded inner border frames the entire design. |
