| Reverse description | A colorfully attired clown, identified with the Circus Knie centenary, is depicted in three-quarter view facing right beneath a theatrical spotlight emanating from the upper field. The figure wears a white conical hat, a ruffled collar, and brightly colored costume rendered in applied polychrome color printing. The clown balances a stack of the letters K, N, I, E on his left knee, forming the circus name in sculptural relief. A five-pointed star appears behind the figure, and fourteen stars are arranged around the periphery of the design; the legend KNIE MASCHERINI 1919 – 2019 is inscribed along the lower portion of the coin. |
