| Obverse description | The central field features the national arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, depicting a leopard's head facing front, flanked by an elephant tusk on the left and a spear on the right, with a ribbon below bearing the motto PAIX; the legends JUSTICE and TRAVAIL appear on the tusk and spear respectively.
