| Obverse description | Two intaglio-engraved circular vignettes occupy the left and right margins — Ceres at left and Mercury at right — set within fine guilloche frames and rendered in blue and brown tones over a delicate guilloche underprint. The central field carries the large blue letterpress denomination numeral "20" flanked by ornamental scrollwork and the issuer name. Artist and engraver credits appear in small capitals along the lower border. |
