| Obverse description | Laureate and bearded right-facing effigy of Emperor Francis Joseph I, his hair finely engraved with a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the nape. The truncation is bare, and the mint mark KB appears in the lower field below the bust. The encircling Latin legend, interrupted by the effigy, runs along the inner border of a continuous beaded rim. |
