| Reverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of the Hungarian People's Republic — a shield bearing a hammer and wheat sheaf over stylized waves, surmounted by a five-pointed star and flanked by radiating sunbeams and wheat ears — set upon a vertically striated rectangular panel. The denomination 20 appears to the left of the arms and Ft to the right in large incuse numerals and letters. The mint mark BP. is incused at the base of the central panel, with the commemorative date range 1946-1956 inscribed along the lower exergue, marking the tenth anniversary of the introduction of the forint. |
