| Obverse description | Central field features four large Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform pattern, read top to bottom and right to left, flanking a decorative rosette or floral element at centre. The inner legend is encircled by a continuous band of additional Chinese ideograms denoting the denomination, weight standard, and issuing authority. The overall layout follows the classical format of late Qing provincial coinage, with all inscriptions rendered in regular script within a plain inner border. |
