Obverse description Central field features four large Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform pattern reading top to bottom and right to left, flanked by Manchu script characters at centre. The entire central device is encircled by a continuous border of Chinese ideograms denoting the reign title, province of issue, and denomination in traditional weight units. The inscription identifies the issuing authority as Fengtien Province and attributes the coin to the Guangxu reign era. The design follows the conventional layout of late Qing dynasty provincial coinage, with the legends arranged in concentric registers separated by the inner and outer fields.
