| Reverse description | A large, finely detailed Chinese imperial dragon is depicted in high relief, coiling dynamically across the entire field with its scaly body, clawed feet, and flowing whiskers rendered with considerable artistry. The dragon's horned head faces forward at centre, with a flaming pearl visible at its breast. The design is enclosed within a beaded border, with the English circular legend 'FOO-KIEN PROVINCE' arcing across the upper portion and '1 MACE AND 4.4 CANDAREENS' along the lower portion, separated by rosette or star ornaments at either side. |
