| Reverse description | Central device depicts a coiled Chinese imperial dragon in high relief, shown frontally with head facing the viewer, claws outstretched, and body sinuously coiled amid stylized clouds and flames. A flaming pearl is positioned at the centre of the composition, partially obscured by the dragon's body. The dragon is rendered in the detailed, scaly style typical of late Qing provincial silver coinage. Surrounding the dragon is a circular English legend divided by small decorative elements. The legend is positioned along the upper and lower periphery of the coin. |
