Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed composition commemorating the European Recovery Program (Marshall Plan) and its role in Austria's postwar reconstruction. In the left foreground, a United States Military Police Willys jeep — marked 'MILITARY POLICE' on its hood — is depicted in bold relief, carrying uniformed soldiers wearing helmets, rendered in a dynamic, almost illustrative style. To the right, a collage of overlapping documentary-style panels depicts a tractor in a field and an industrial facility, symbolising agricultural and infrastructural rebuilding. The bold stylised legend ERP MARSHALLPLAN arcs across the upper field, while the inscription WIEDERAUFBAU IN ÖSTERREICH curves along the lower rim. The engraver's signature H. WÄHNER appears in the right-centre field.
