| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of Mayotte prominently displayed in the left-center field, depicting a shield ornamented with a crescent moon in the upper half and two stylized floral motifs in the lower half, set against a scalloped decorative border. The territorial name MAYOTTE is inscribed in large letters along the upper rim. To the right of the shield, the French Republican motto 'liberté / égalité / fraternité' appears in three lines in a stylized script, followed below by the date 2004 and the RF monogram denoting République Française.
