| Obverse description | The obverse features a relief reproduction of Edgar Degas's celebrated pastel painting 'L'Étoile' (c. 1875/76), depicting a ballerina en pointe with her right arm raised, rendered within a recessed rectangular panel occupying the left portion of the field.
