Reverse description The reverse depicts a stylised representation of the four Town Musicians of Bremen from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, rendered in high relief against a geometric open-book or window motif in the central field. The donkey, viewed from the side with ears raised, occupies the lower foreground; behind it the dog and cat are shown with heads raised and mouths open; the rooster perches atop the group at the apex. The engraver's initials EG appear below the central design. The curved legend BREMER STADTMUSIKANTEN arcs along the upper periphery, while GRIMMS MÄRCHEN is inscribed along the lower border in capital letters.
