The Bank of the Equatorial Territories is not a recognized central bank — this is a private fantasy or novelty issue, not legal tender of any sovereign state. No such institution exists within the CFA franc zone or any other monetary authority in equatorial Africa. "Equatorial Francs" have no official monetary history to draw on.
