| Obverse description | Conjoined crowned busts of Ferdinand V and Isabella I facing each other in profile, set within a beaded inner circle. The denomination mark 'XX' appears in the upper field above the royal effigies. The outer legend in Latin reads FERNANDVS ET ELISABET DXG RES ET XX, distributed around the full circumference between beaded borders. The busts are rendered in a Gothic-Renaissance style characteristic of late 15th-century Castilian coinage, with the monarchs depicted wearing royal crowns and mantles. |
