Pineland is a fictional adversary nation used in U.S. Special Forces training exercises, most associated with the Robin Sage exercise conducted in the Uwharrie National Forest region of North Carolina. "Currency" issued in its name is role-play material, not a monetary instrument — produced to give unconventional warfare trainees practice in handling and assessing documents in a denied-area environment.
The signatures are almost certainly fabricated names assigned to notional government officials. No central bank, no treasury, no real issuing authority exists behind this note.
