Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed scene commemorating the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and Olympic Games. At right, a facing bust of President Theodore Roosevelt is depicted in high relief, shown in civilian attire with his characteristic moustache. Behind and to the left, a grand Beaux-Arts exhibition hall — evoking the Festival Hall of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition — is rendered in precise architectural detail, surrounded by trees in the lower field. The denomination $20 appears in the lower left field. The curved legend HISTORY OF AMERICA • WORLD'S FAIR AND OLYMPIC GAMES - ST. LOUIS 1904 encircles the design along the periphery.
