| Obverse description | Central field depicts a highly detailed, ultra-high relief scene set within an ancient Egyptian temple interior, featuring ornately decorated ceremonial chests and canopic shrine furniture adorned with hieroglyphic motifs, winged scarab imagery, and ankh symbols. To the left, a seated cat deity figure (Bastet) with outstretched wings stands atop a pedestal, while a recumbent animal figure occupies the right side of the composition. The Republic of Palau coat of arms appears in the upper central field, surmounted by the circular legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU, with the issuer's name RAINBOWS END on a scroll at the base of the shield.
