| Obverse description | The central device depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau, featuring a shield enclosing a figure of Neptune seated and holding a trident, accompanied by a mermaid to his right and a treasure chest to his left, with a crescent moon and a sun above. The shield is surmounted by a traditional Palauan outrigger canoe. Eight stars flank the coat of arms in the field. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper periphery, the inscription RAINBOW'S END appears in the exergue of the shield, and the denomination 20$ is inscribed at the bottom of the coin. |
